Savard‘s works portray architectural studies and landscapes painted from locations along the eastern seaboard, New England and in Europe.
Through Savard‘s work runs a consistent theme in which she, displaying a sure sense of light and strong graphic understanding, captures a quality of serenity unique to her work. The strength and depth of her compositions make her paintings sublime – a tranquility that transcends. Her poignant oils and monotypes, in their hauntingly still nature, create a haven away from the fast-paced, volatile world in which we live.
Savard is a longtime member of the Silvermine Guild of Artists in New Canaan, Connecticut and a member of the Wilson Avenue Loft Artists in Norwalk.
