My environmentally focused work centrally highlights quotidian observations of urban and natural experiences through an amalgam of painting, printmaking and contemporary photographic media, ranging from realism to abstraction.

 

Nancy McTague - Stock, MFA, has been the recipient of countless awards, residencies, grants, fellowships, articles in the US and abroad. Her work has been exhibited in eleven countries, is held in permanent & private collections and museums in the US, Portugal, Switzerland and France, as well as in The Library of Congress, Yale University’s Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library. A periodic lecturer about contemporary art, environment and culture, Nancy has served for over twenty-five years as an artists’ mentor, arts writer, curator, juror and teacher, for numerous academic, private and public institutions including The Prince of Wales Foundation in the UK while remaining active in outreach and global programming.
