In each painting, I strive to capture more than a place—I want to evoke a tangible mood and a sense of atmosphere.

My work is about light, mood, and space. Inspired by the ever-changing coastline, I explore color, reflection, and layers of light to create landscapes that are both atmospheric and emotional.

Nature is always my starting point, but each painting becomes a balance of observation, artistic process, and imagination. I begin with a warm gold underlayer, creating a subtle luminosity, then build each landscape in oils through layered color, translucent glazes, fluid reflections, and misty depths.

My love of art and art history began at Williams College, where I earned a BA in Art History, followed by an MBA from Columbia University and a career in luxury goods marketing. Today, I live in Westport, Connecticut, and create in my sun-filled studio at WALA (Wilson Avenue Loft Artists) in South Norwalk.
