Nancy McTague-Stock
Artist's Statement
My work reflects the rhythm of nature. Whether I am creating an atmospheric view of the panorama, or concentrating on the 'unobserved' aspects of the flora, I proffer a more intimate view of nature's bounty. My work correlates to my own experiences as an artist and environmentalist, as I seek out and work to capture the meditative and restorative properties of natural entities. Observation, use of multiple media and challenging perception all play a role in my aesthetic process.
